Online Interactive Workshop Policy Page

What exactly is an Online Interactive Workshop?

It is an opportunity for you to learn new skills, use new tools, learn from new instructors from the comfort of your own sewing space, as well as meet new quilty friends.

How do the Online Interactive Workshop Work?

Once you have decide to enroll in the Online Interactive workshop, you will need to make sure that you are equipped with an internet connection along with a tablet, cellphone (sorry can't be a flip phone) or a computer. Your device should have working camera, microphone and speakers. Our instructors will be live and you will have opportunities though out to ask questions, just as you would in a regular classroom setting.

What platform will I use to log into the class?

I am sure by now many of you have either heard, seen or used the platform "Zoom".  If not please watch the below video for a quick over view.

Now that you know what "Zoom" is all about, you will need to download the app on your device from the app store, or online.  It is very simple to do, and if you do experience any problems, please reach out with adequate time before the class. I do ask that it be a week before, as we want to make sure you are prepared and ready to on the day of  your workshop.

When will I be given access to the workshop?

Two days before the workshop, we will send you the log in information along with the password that the instructor has provided to us, via email. This log in and password is intended for paying customers and single use. Our instructors are very talented, and deserve to be compensated for both their time and skills, just as they would be in a regular classroom setting.

What am I required to have for the workshop?

Here is the bonus about doing an Online Interactive Workshop... everything you need is at your fingertips because you are in your own sewing space! You are required to have the pattern to participate in the class, as well if there are any special tools that are used, it is suggested to purchase them when paying for your class.

Questions about class pricing ?

This is a whole new world for myself introducing Online Interactive Workshop. Each time we introduce a new instructor on our website we are going to be offering a special rate for the class, as well lets face it you will be the first group experience this new chapter here at TBQD. I want to make sure that your workshop experience is priced accordingly to being a trial run for the instructor. You will find that all subsequent class will be a priced on the teacher knowledge and experience.

Can I have a custom kit built for the class?

Of course! I love to work with customers one on one, over the phone, instant messages, or by email to build the perfect kit for you.  In addition to building your own kit, you will also receive a 10% discount on all of your supplies for the class. To receive this discount you will have to contact us here in the shop, to have it applied. Please reach out to myself at info@trollbrothersquiltdesigns.com and I will be more than happy to assist you with this.
