Shaw Paper Pattern

Shaw is a simple backpack that comes in three sizes! This pattern has been cleverly designed to avoid using any bias binding. The name of this pattern was inspired by my first cruise, and the movie, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

FINISHED SIZE: The finished sizes are: small 8" wide, 9" high, and 4" deep, medium 10" wide, 12" high, and 5" deep, and large 12" wide, 15" high, and 6" deep.

PATTERN DIFFICULTY: 3 Intermediate

FEATURES: front zipper pocket, adjustable padded shoulder straps, handle, and double slide zipper top closure.

HARDWARE REQUIRED: The only hardware required for this pattern is a set of Ladder Lock Buckles. 

ZIPPER REQUIRED: This pattern requires a 7” single slide and 15-¼” double slide zipper for the small, 8” single slide and 18” double slide zipper for the medium, and an 8” single slide and 22-½” double slide zipper for the large. Shop our selection of faux zipper by the yard, to achieve the professional appearance of metal, but with ease of sewing with nylon!
