We try to get your orders out as fast as we can!  Orders placed by 1pm Pacific time (that's 4pm Eastern and even later in Newfoundland) will be processed and shipped out that day, unless there is a specific note on the item indicating otherwise.  If it's after 1pm, your order will go out the next day.

Everyone needs a break, so shipping may take longer around national holidays, like Christmas, and sometimes the weekend can throw a curve ball too.

Lost, Stolen, Late & Damaged Packages

If you suspect your package is lost or have questions about the status of your order please contact us.  We cannot be responsible for lost, stolen, late or damaged packages, but we will do our best to help where we can. 



If something is wrong with your purchase, please let us know. Unfortunately, we can't accept returns on cut fabric or patterns,  however, if we've made an error or mistake we'll fix it!  If you're not satisfied or changed your mind - we'll try to resolve that too. Please contact us by email within 30 days after placing your order. You will need to pay the shipping cost to get the order back to us. The item must be unused and in the original packaging.  Once we've received it, we'll let you know it's here. Then we'll need to inspect it to approve an exchange or refund. We want you to be satisfied - we'll do our best to make that happen.  


Pre-Sale Orders

All Pre-Sale orders are final. No exchanges or refunds. 



We charge taxes on orders sent within Canada. The amount will be calculated when you place your order, based on your the province you are ordering from.  

Orders sent to the United States or sent internationally are not charged tax.

Q: Can I purchase insurance? Can I upgrade to a faster shipping method?

Q: I never received my package. It didn't have a tracking number. Now what? 
A: We will investigate right away. Please email us at to get the process started.  We'll do our best to help, though we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Q: My package arrived damaged, and some items were missing - what can I do? 

A: Oh no! We can't control the postal service, but please let us know by email what was missing or damaged, and we'll see if there is anything we can do. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in delivery.  

Q: My pattern calls for fat quarters. Will you cut fat quarters instead of sending linear quarters?

A: Yes of course we will! Please put a note on your order for any requests you may have and we will do our best to accomodate. 

Q: Are your discount codes applied to all of your products in your shop?

A: Unfortunately we do not apply our discount codes to pre-sale or clearance items.

Q: I have ordered more than one Pre-Sale, how will this affect me for shipping?

A: If you have ordered both on one order you have the option of having it held until the next collection comes in, or for an additional flat rate charge we can send it out to you once it arrives.
