Richard Waist Pack Pattern
The Richard Waist Pack is a "fanny pack" or hip bag design that is worn either around the waist or across the body (you will want to adjust the strap length based on how you want to wear it).
The pattern was designed for quilting cotton and can be made on a domestic sewing machine! However, depending on your machine, you can certainly try vinyl, denim, or cork, but adjustments to interfacing and stabilizers may be required.
This bag is soft-sided and holds more than you would think! The pattern features a front slip pocket with a magnetic snap flap closure, a back zipper pocket to keep items super-safe, and a large wide-mouth opening main compartment. The construction technique keeps the lining super snug and sewn into all the edges for a clean finish.
Details:
The finished size is 14-1/2” (36.9 cm) wide, 5-3/4” (14.6 cm) tall, and 4” (10.2 cm) deep
