FINISHED QUILT SIZE: 2.05cms x 2.05cms (80” x 80”)
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS: (based on 42” wide fabric)
• Note: There are eight colour groups in this quilt and eight blocks are made
from each colour group. Each block uses five fabrics plus background fabric.
• 40 - Fat Quarters (US Fat Quarters are suitable)
five fabrics for each of the eight colour groups
• White background fabric: 2.5mts (2.75yds)
• Binding: 55cms (5/8yd)
• Backing: 2.25mts x 2.25mts (88” x 88”) Square
(42” wide fabric - 4.5 mts or 5¼ yds)
• Batting: 2.25mts x 2.25mts (88” x 88”) Square
• Templastic
• Please note: The Gemstone Tumble blocks are foundation pieced and any
foundation method can be used. If you choose to use the method described
in the pattern you will need:
• Freezer paper, • stapler and • stapler extractor
